Switching From Notion to Coda for Team Wikis, Costs and Steps

Switching from Notion to Coda for team wikis makes sense in one main case. Your wiki has lots of readers, few authors, and a growing need for tables and automations. If most people on your team write new pages, I would stay on Notion. Quick answer Switch if: few people create pages, and your wiki also runs trackers or workflows. Stay if: your wiki is plain docs, or most people add pages. Watch the name: Coda is now called Superhuman Docs. Watch the bill: you pay for Doc Makers, and adding pages is listed as a Doc Maker job. Plan for cleanup: filters, formulas, and alternate views do not import. Coda is now Superhuman Docs This trips up a lot of older guides. Grammarly bought Coda, then took the Superhuman name. About This Blog

This blog publishes plain-English buying guides and how-to guides for everyday technology, including microphones, monitors, storage, networking gear, Windows and Mac help, and AI tools for work.

Who writes it

I have worked in IT for about 20 years, supporting offices, home users and small teams. The "My take" boxes in each guide are my opinions and checklists based on that background. They are not product test results.

How the guides are built

  • Each guide is based on official product and support pages and on named independent reviews. The sources are listed at the bottom of every post.
  • Unless a guide says otherwise, I have not tested the products myself. Where a claim comes from a manufacturer, the guide says so.
  • Prices change often. When a guide quotes a price, it names the source and the date.
  • Guides about law, accounting, healthcare or hiring are general information, not professional advice.

Affiliate disclosure

Some hardware guides contain Amazon affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. Software guides link to the official vendor pages. Links do not change which products are included.

Corrections

Technology changes quickly. Every guide shows a "Last updated" date at the bottom, and I update posts when prices, features or support pages change.
